Veronica Jones is #MadeForKnoxville.
Veronica and her husband Brandon are two pieces of a whole when it comes to Dale + Aran — she’s unique with her clay creations and he’s a whiz with the woodworking. Together, they’re able to express their individual and combined creativity in their handcrafted pieces.
And their small business isn’t just a method for some extra cash — it’s a genuine outlet that they are always eager to engage with. Anyone who takes home a piece from their Etsy store or Bearden’s Southern Market is receiving an item made with enormous amounts of love and uniqueness.
“The mix of unexpected textures that we use to make our jewelry is what makes me eager to keep making. We also happen to live in a city that is very good to its Makers. Which helps a lot with getting our name out there and making resources available to our business!”
In Their Own Words..
Hello Knoxville! I’m Veronica , the co-creator at Dale + Aran, alongside my husband Brandon.
We are a husband and wife team that express our creativity by combining wood and clay to create jewelry and home designs. Brandon crafts the wood pieces and is very good at thinking of new ways to put wood together to make unusual patterns and at cutting fun shapes. I work mainly with clay and I combine the clay & wood to give you unique art pieces and jewelry which are all light weight and one-of-a-kind. With a degree in Merchandising, I also offer styling ideas on my page and show ways to pair our jewelry with any wardrobe.
The mix of unexpected textures that we use to make our jewelry is what makes me eager to keep making. We also happen to live in a city that is very good to its Makers. Which helps a lot with getting our name out there and making resources available to our business! Besides having an Etsy shop, we have recently expanded into a space at the amazing Southern Market in Bearden.
