Terri, Walt, and Joshua are #MadeForKnoxville.

Two friends, a love of art and Market Square: these were the beginning pieces in the creation of Highland Design.

Walt Montgomery had drifted from his passion for art and design, but a Market Square reunion with Terri sparked an excitement and entrepreneurial pursuit between the two. After that meeting, the foundation for Highland Design had been laid, but an important aspect was still missing: graphics and computer skills. That missing piece was soon found when Joshua Marks joined the creative team. 

Today, the trio design creative shirts, clothing and logos that can be found in a variety of local Knoxville stores. Their unique, hand-crafted designs, humble beginnings and passion for their products embody the spirit found throughout our Maker City.
