Ian Ratner is #MadeForKnoxville.

Ian’s experiences with online dating led him to realize he was never going to find a suitable partner with today’s methods. So, enter Poze: a new kind of online dating, focused on philanthropic partners rather than superficial singles.

With Poze, Ian hopes individuals will be able to find suitors that connect with them on a deeper level, adding more value to their lives, relationships and the world around them. And while people are building meaningful relationships with their new matches, they’ll also be building up the charities that are important to them.

“Our socially-conscious clientele are seeking deeper connections, shared interests, value system alignment, and ongoing experiences with a partner, opening the door for a new offering at the intersection of online dating and philanthropy. Poze will help socially-conscious singles build better relationships one date at a time.”

Poze Landscape 1

In Their Own Words..

Hi. I’m Ian Ratner, CEO of Poze, the relationship platform. I have over 25 years of software, project and product development experience and together with CMO Andrea Ryan, we’re founding Poze to build better relationships, starting with charity date auctions. My personal experience with online dating over 20 years ago, and again very recently is that existing products are either too superficial or overly complicated. Our socially-conscious clientele are seeking deeper connections, shared interests, value system alignment, and ongoing experiences with a partner, opening the door for a new offering at the intersection of online dating and philanthropy. Poze is capitalizing on the $3.1B and growing online dating market and the $500B charitable giving sector.

Our app will bring the excitement of a charity date auction to the masses by enabling daters to specify charitable causes that they believe in, and propose (AKA Poze) specific dates that suitors can bid on. Each auction is a win-win-win. A win for the couple (a great date), a win for the charity (the charity gets the winning bid amount) , and a win for Poze (a per bid fee). We will be establishing a robust partner ecosystem with up to 1.5 million US nonprofits, steering donations to them, leveraging their events as date opportunities, and exchanging contact lists. We also have plans for partnerships with influencers, celebrities, event promoters, dining establishments, and activity venues where we earn a share of revenue for steering dates toward their businesses. In addition, we plan to offer our platform as a service to our competitors. Poze will help socially-conscious singles build better relationships one date at a time.
