Frog began crafting kombucha after noticing the positive effect it had on her health. But what started as a hangover cure after long shifts at the bar has transformed into a successful, nourishment-focused Knoxville company.   

Frog and her team at Frog Juice Kombucha are intentional. From locally sourced ingredients to the dish soap used in their operations, their impact is always considered. In Their Own Words..

My name is Frog and I started Frog Juice in 2012 in Chicago. I was fascinated by how much better my body felt drinking kombucha and started working with local farmers once I developed my recipes. Sourcing local ingredients of the best quality is a cornerstone of my company. I moved to Knoxville in 2017 and in 2019, met my partner Benjamin. His background in large scale beer brewing has added a level of technical skills and expansion knowledge that I did not have. We are very excited for the future that Knoxville holds for us and are thrilled to give back to this community that we love so dearly. Some of the best lessons I have learned in this entrepreneurial journey are when to outsource things that are not my “10s” and when to step away from wearing all the hats. I deeply value the contributions my friends, mentors, and coworkers have made over the years in growing this business and have learned so much by being open to suggestions.
