Danielle Butler is #MadeForKnoxville.
Danielle has always loved a good culinary challenge. As a private chef, she loves experimenting with her creative side to make less than desirable dishes seem delectable. So, there’s no way she was going to pass up on a dare to make hot sauce — she knew she could change peoples’ minds.
And she did. Her business took off as she used her culinary craft to “change the perception of burn.” With every bottle of hot sauce sold, Danielle is cementing her spot as Knoxville’s “Queen of Hot Sauce.”
“Changing the perception of burn is my motto. People who don’t like heat taste my hottest sauce and buy and love it. Understanding that you need flavor with burn. That was my first accomplishment and I claimed the title Knoxville’s Queen of Hot Sauce.”
In Their Own Words..
I am a private chef with a huge cooking addiction and a crazy creative side. I love cooking foods that most people wouldn’t go near, and when they like it, I get a great sense of accomplishment.
I started making hot sauce on a dare and because I knew I could make it better. Things just took off from there. In a year, I had enough money to buy a car in cash.
Changing the perception of burn is my motto. People who don’t like heat will taste my hottest sauce and buy and love it. Understanding that you need flavor with burn was my first accomplishment, and I claimed the title Knoxville’s Queen of Hot Sauce.
There is no denying it–it has been a rough couple of years. I lost everything. My car, my dog, and my house… but I climbed out of that pit, one bottle of hot sauce at a time.
