Jasmine Ball is #MadeForKnoxville.
Jasmine has always had a way with words. As a born writer, she quickly realized that most people don’t have her knack for the skill. So, she saw her opportunity and… wrote with it.
BTM, a content creation and copywriting business, allows Jasmine to help companies and entrepreneurs speak in their authentic voices–it also allowed her to leave the corporate world and become a work-at-home mom, thus living a more authentic life herself.
Words have become a tool that help Jasmine add value to places and things. Just as she uses them for clients and her own life, those words she writes will undoubtedly bring even more value to her Knoxville community.
“I’ve been able to skyrocket my business, retire from corporate America, and my greatest achievement is getting to be a new work at home mom — which was a dream. I’m excited to contribute to Knoxville and add value to this community as I learn more about ways I can get more involved.”
In Their Own Words..
Hi I’m Jasmine York Ball, also known as Jasmine, the writer. It’s what I studied in college and what I’ve been doing professionally for nearly 10 years. First in corporate America and now in my own business.
I’m originally from Alabama, where while working in corporate America, I founded an quarterly print-based magazine from the African-American perspective in 2015 in response to the nationwide outpouring and need to bridge the gap to promote unity in the community. The goal and motto was helping locals get informed, get inspired, and get involved.
Running that passion project is what inspired me to put on my entrepreneurial hat, learn more about the business side of things, and what brought me to my purpose — which is using my talent and skills in writing to connect others to resources that help them live more informed, inspired, and overall better lives.
While since moving to Knoxville in 2019, I no longer run the Montgomery-based magazine publication. However, I do still use my writing to live out my life mission, only now on a global scale.
I help businesses from all over the world with clients in Thailand, the UK, Canada, and all over the nation create more freedom, ease, and flow and get set up for success online through the power of copywriting and content marketing, whether they want to DIY or have it “done for you”.
I started my entrepreneurial journey like many, with a simple desire to supplement my income. And as a result, I’ve been able to skyrocket my business, retire from corporate America, and my greatest achievement is getting to be a new work at home mom — which was a dream.
I’m excited to contribute to Knoxville and add value to this community as I learn more about ways I can get more involved.
